First we painted with Cool Colors using large brushes and texture rollers
then warm colors
they did not paint their arms for the neck, it was added with the brush
Then cut, assemble, glue, and add feathers to the neck with pearlescent paint mixed with blue liquid watercolor.
I will add the kid’s finished products to this post next week.

ReplyDeleteYes definitely! I did it with k-2nd. It takes a while though. I have ended up making several large warm color paintings for them to cut from. So it takes one class to paint cool colors and stamp hands, and another class (sometimes two) to cut out the pieces and glue it all together.
