Warm/Cool Color Peacocks

Here is a peak at what we are working on lately! They are so cute!! We have been painting warm colors and cool colors, and making our papers into peacocks!!! We used iridescent blue paint for the feathers on his neck. Black, orange, and red paint for the handprint! Will post pics of step by step and more finished results soon!! 1. YOU were totally my inspiration with the painted paper! I always LOVE your ideas made with painted paper, but never want to drag a project three weeks to paint the paper and cut it all out and assemble, but its totally worth it, and looks great! They LOVED being free to paint their paper crazy at the warm color station and the cool color station!

  4. I just saw this on Pinterest and needed to check out your site. This is an awesome idea. I have seen great peacock projects but this is my favorite. Was the hand painted and then printed or was the hand and arm painted then printed? Thank-you for sharing.

    1. They painted the hand and stamped it at the top and then the neck was painted with black paint. Then when it dried, they cut it out so the feathers could be placed behind it..I will post the steps next week.

  6. Such a great idea! Did you use shaving cream to make a marble background? What kind of paint did you put on top of it?
